There’s nothing like a good movie…

…to take the mind off aches and pains.

Clarence and Sophie had a long, uncomfortable vet visit yesterday. We dropped them off at 7:30am to get them fixed, but Clarence had to stay until 5pm so they could keep an eye on him while he recovered because they heard a heart murmur. We picked them up at 5pm and then had a nearly 6 hour drive back to Newport. It should have been shorter, but the roads were bad.

Oh, by the way…we’ve moved to Newport, R.I. for the next 5 or so months. We’ve been here a couple of days now and we’re loving it!

So we had two little achy kitties and thought we would pop a movie in for them so they could settle in and relax. They were enthralled…

Eventually Sophie realized she couldn’t actually get at the birds and tired of the movie, but not Clare. He watched every movement of every bird at every second until the very end.

  1. OMG That is the cutest thing . Are you seriuos that they really just set and watch the movie? I am glad to hear that you like RI. Did you take Soj. with you? Glad to read your post it made me smile. Thanks

  2. Sorry for the second comment(well it is a question) not a comment. Are you still going to continue with your blog? I hope so.

  3. Hey Tammie-
Soj is back at home with our neighbor. He’s in a lovely big barn and has two horse pals. He seems quite content. I think it’s going to be a battle, in fact, to get him back home when we return in July.
I’m kind of slowly getting back into the blog. I am using this time in Newport to get a little more disciplined and stay on top of things like this!

  4. Oh Great, I am glad to hear that. I realize it is hard to keep everything going and I know first hand blogging is something that can be easily put on the back burner. I look forward to continue following your blog and watching your work being posted. It is so good.
